Position Overview
Position title
:
Junior, Assistant, Associate, and Full Specialist.
Salary range
: $55,000 to $194,800.
Location
:
Riverside, CA.
Specialists are expected to make significant contributions to research projects in their area of expertise. They provide essential support through specialized knowledge, skills, and experience, including design and execution of research, laboratory operations, data collection and analysis, and development and maintenance of research tools and resources.
Specialists may also engage in university and public service relevant to their specialization.
Qualifications- Junior Specialist – Bachelor's degree or equivalent research experience, e.g., instrumentation, software, social science methods, humanities scholarship, or creative activities.
- Assistant Specialist – Master's degree or five years of experience demonstrating expertise in the relevant specialization.
- Associate Specialist – Master's degree or five to ten years of experience; expected record of academic accomplishments, including published or in‑press research and university or public service.
- Full Specialist – Terminal degree or ten or more years of experience; expected significant record of academic accomplishments, professional recognition, and university or public service.
