The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience Program invites applications for its part-time lecturer pool. We are seeking experienced, student‑learning focused adjunct faculty to teach face‑to‑face courses on the Riverside campus in the following subject areas:
- General Psychology (104)
- Developmental Psychology (234)
- Critical Thinking in Psychology (106)
- Abnormal Psychology (275)
- Human Neuropsychology (365)
- Other specialized topics in neuroscience (484)
This is a pool of part‑time adjunct faculty for the department to draw on as necessary. Qualified applicants will be contacted when positions are available.
QUALIFICATIONS- Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a closely related field.
- A Ph.D. or extensive professional experience is desirable for teaching upper‑division courses (300- or 400-level).
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and throughout employment.
- This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.
- Must reside in the State of California by the start date and maintain California residency throughout employment.

- Teaching evaluations (if available)

- Hourly compensation is determined in accordance with the University's approved Adjunct Faculty Compensation Schedule.
- Current hourly rates range from $33.80 to $42.76, based on the instructor's academic rank and highest qualifying degree.
