Instructional Aide Substitute Opportunities – School-Based, Flexible Per Diem

Instructional Aide Substitutes are needed to provide essential one‑on‑one and small group support in school settings. As an Instructional Aide Substitute, you will:
- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
- Work one‑on‑one or with small groups, following direction from teachers and other school staff
- Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and encourage meaningful classroom participation
- Help implement behavior support plans and follow individualized education programs (IEPs) as directed
- Aid students with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all
Requirements for School Compliance:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 18 years of age
- TB test in accordance with district guidelines
- Physically able to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
- All required clearances must be current or obtainable prior to starting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
- Familiarity supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- CPI, PMT, or RBT background (helpful, but not required)
- Reliable, positive, and collaborative approach

Compensation for this position ranges from $18.52 to $30.52. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
