Substitute Teacher, Alternative Education
The purpose of Substitute Teacher, Alternative Education is done for the purpose of providing academic instruction and supervising at risk students; documenting events and/or student activities for potential use in a court of law, ensuring compliance with drug, alcohol programs, court orders, etc. and processing new students in accordance with court/probation requirements. Requirements / QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE Experience relevant to the duties set forth in the Substitute Teacher, Alternative Education job description will be considered when making the selection decision. REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university is required. REQUIRED CREDENTIALS/CERTIFICATES/LICENSES Possession of a valid California Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential or valid Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit Verification of meeting the Basic Skills Requirement.
