Engineering Admissions and Articulation Specialist Overview
As the Engineering Admissions and Articulation Specialist at the Bourns College of Engineering, University of California, Riverside, you will be at the heart of our efforts to recruit and retain top engineering talent. This position focuses on streamlining pathways for first‑year and transfer students, creating seamless transitions into UCR’s engineering programs.
What You Will Do- Build Partnerships and Agreements:
Collaborate with community colleges to develop and strengthen articulation agreements, making the transfer process smooth and straightforward for incoming students. - Strategic Recruitment:
Drive outreach initiatives to attract diverse, talented students, engaging with high schools, community colleges, and outreach programs like MESA to strengthen the pipeline for future engineers. - Support Prospective Students:
Provide comprehensive guidance on admissions, academic preparedness, and career opportunities, ensuring that students feel supported every step of the way. - Collaborate for Success:
Work closely with internal teams, including the Dean’s Office, faculty, and academic advisors, to ensure unified communication and support for newly admitted students.

The full salary range for the Engineering Admissions and Articulation Specialist is $61,000 - $106,800 annually. This position is grant‑funded for two years, with a possibility of renewal based on funding.
RequirementsApplicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, compliance with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements is required. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
