Instructional Assistant, Early Head Start (Level IV)

The job of instructional assistant, early head start (level iv) is done for the purpose of assisting in the supervision and instruction of infants and toddler-aged children (0 - 3 years old); performing classroom clerical tasks; assisting children in meeting health and nutrition needs and developing children's cognitive and emotional skills. this position is categorically funded.

required education an associate's degree from an accredited college/university including completion of 24 semester units of eced/cd coursework from a regionally accredited college/university. instructional assistants assigned to work with infants must have 6 infant/toddler units. required experience six months experience working as an instructional assistant.
