Substitute Teacher, Special Education
The job of Substitute Teacher, Special Education is done for the purpose of developing special education student success in academics, interpersonal skills, and activities of daily living by implementing district approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities, outcomes; addressing students' specific needs as identified by Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P); providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Experience relevant to the duties outlined in the job description will be considered when making the selection decision. REQUIRED EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university is required;
Master's Degree desirable. REQUIRED CREDENTIALS
• Possession of a valid California Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in Special Education or Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential or Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
• Verification of meeting the Basic Skills Requirement. You must provide evidence of qualifying for this credential with your application materials
