Instructional Assistant, Special Education

The job of instructional assistant, special education is done for the purpose of assisting under direct supervision in the supervision and instruction of special education students; relieving teachers of clerical tasks, assisting students by providing and developing students adaptive and behavioral skills. Instructional assistant, special education includes positions for classes such as autism; deaf/hard of hearing; emotionally disturbed; intellectual disability-moderate; intellectual disability-severe;

orientation and mobility; orthopedically impaired; and visually impaired. We can provide zoom interviews.

Job related experience is desired. High school diploma or equivalent is required. Once this position closes, your application will be screened for minimum qualifications. • Copy of transcript (optional: in order to bypass testing, a copy of legible transcripts must be attached to your application showing successful passing of 48 or more eligible semester units from an accredited college/university. • Letter(s) of recommendation (one letter of recommendation are required and must be signed by the author. The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the position closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the position closing date will not be accepted.
