Position Information

Applicants are required to submit a cover letter and resume for full consideration. Reporting to the Director of Evaluation and Assessment, the Analyst supports campus-wide assessment initiatives at both the program and institutional levels to promote student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage policies and procedures related to the evaluation of learning outcomes in academic programs.
  • Administer the quarterly student evaluations of teaching for UCR courses.
  • Lead the annual assessment reporting process for UCR degree programs.
  • Oversee the annual core competency assessments for undergraduate education.
  • Develop and implement effective learning outcomes and sustainable assessment plans in collaboration with faculty, academic departments, the Division of Undergraduate Education, the Graduate Division, the Library, and instructional designers in the Center for Teaching and Learning.
  • Partner with leaders of non-academic units to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and corresponding assessment strategies aligned with institutional goals.
  • Participate in regional accreditation activities, including site visits, to ensure institutional compliance and continuous improvement in assessment processes.
Compensation

The full salary range for the Evaluation & Assessment Analyst is $75,900 - $137,300 annually, with an expected pay scale up to $91,250 annually, based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other factors.

Employment Details

Applicants must have current work authorization; the university is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.

Employees will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended.

This position follows a hybrid schedule, requiring at least four days on campus and up to one day remote.
