UC Riverside's Center for Early Childhood Education is recruiting for multiple Classroom Assistants (Limited). The part‑time mandatory compulsory positions may not exceed 1,000 working hours in a 12‑month consecutive period. Hours will vary or rotate based on classroom needs. The salary for these positions is $21.92 - $25.10 per hour. Salary offers are determined by factors including education, licensure, certifications, and experience.
The Classroom Assistant will work under the general supervision of the Early Childhood Services Executive Director, Site Supervisor, and close supervision of the classroom Lead Teacher, providing assistance to ensure the smooth function of daily routines, the implementation of early care and education programs, and compliance with mandated adult: child ratios. They will work as part of the Early Childhood Services teaching team.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. UC Riverside is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements.
