Veterinary Technology (VT) Instructor
Position SummaryThe Veterinary Technology (VT) Instructor is responsible for providing quality instruction that meets program and course objectives. The Instructor maintains an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and imparts the requirements of the relevant workplace setting to students.

- Impart workplace requirements to students.
- Understanding of education environments and adult learning needs.
- Ability to provide a positive and effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of professional career paths for enrolled students.
- Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Good organization and communication skills.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Current California RVT license in good standing.
- Associate's degree from an AVMA‑accredited school in Veterinary Technology.
- Several years of practice and experience in management and/or training.
Adjunct, hourly, non‑exempt. Adjunct faculty hours are determined by scheduled courses; no guarantee of hours and typically under 25 per week.
