Position: Site Program Manager I

JOB SUMMARY

The Site Program Manager (SPM) is the on-site leader of a Think Together educational program conducted on a partner‑school campus. The SPM oversees all aspects of the statewide recognized after‑school program, ensuring it meets educational and recreational requirements, operates safely and efficiently, and functions in accordance with policies and operational procedures. As the primary point of contact and liaison, the SPM fosters positive partner relationships through effective communication both internally and externally while aligning with the school day to uphold program satisfaction.

The SPM is responsible for ensuring the site meets and maintains its Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and is required to manage multiple components and funding streams, and to be available at varying times—including before school, after school, non‑instructional days, and weekends (Saturdays, summer, and winter).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations and program activities.
  • Ensure all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Think Together and align with the four core agreements.
  • Be responsible, respectful, safe, and ensure fun for students.
  • Monitor and assess program success, including participation levels, quality of activities, student behaviors, and achievement for continuous improvement.
  • Implement all Think Together Program Design and other expectations.
  • Execute a comprehensive curriculum, including lessons and activities, to ensure academic success.
  • Train and coach all staff on routines, procedures, and program design; provide printed lessons, materials, and supplies for implementation.
  • Effectively supervise the site team on academic and enrichment instructional practices; provide ongoing coaching.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and team ethic.
  • Ensure a safe, healthy environment for students and staff; implement safety guidelines per Think Together/district policies and school safety plans, and report all incidents.
  • Interview, recommend, supervise, train, discipline, and terminate Think Together site staff.
  • Ensure sustainability of all funding sources by meeting mandatory goals such as attendance targets, grants, etc.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student enrollment data through the student database; ensure compliance with ADA and data policies.
  • Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality of student records, and adherence to operational reporting procedures.
  • Preserve confidentiality of sensitive information related to the program, students, families, and staff.
  • Meet metrics and deliverables for successful performance and goal achievement.
  • Implement student assessments and evaluations for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate regularly with school principal and faculty to align academic goals and initiatives.
  • Keep school administrators, staff, and parents informed on program activities and daily incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders; foster effective partnerships and attend required school meetings.
  • Encourage open communication among team members and stakeholders for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with partners, staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing and demonstrate sensitivity to the target audience.
  • Manage site‑level budgets.
  • Approve all timecards for direct reports in accordance with pay practice policies.
  • Implement other human resource policies and procedures.
  • Attend SPM meetings, other meetings, and training as requested.
  • Implement other plans or requirements related to program quality, customer experience, and business needs.
  • Meet all deadlines established and as assigned.
