Per Diem Classroom Assistant | Riverside, California

Instructional Aide Substitute positions are available for compassionate individuals interested in making a difference in student lives in school-based environments. What Youll Do:

• Provide direct academic and behavioral support to students, both 1:1 and in small group settings
• Follow teacher and staff direction to assist classroom engagement and participation
• Help students with daily routines, classroom tasks, and transitions
• Implement and follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support strategies
• Support with personal care, mobility, and general supervision as needed
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful learning environment for all students

Required for Consideration:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain prior to start

Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience in schools, child care, special education, or behavioral health
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training in CPI, PMT, RBT, or similar (a plus, not required)
• Demonstrated patience, reliability, and teamwork
