Permit Teacher, Head Start
The purpose of Permit Teacher, Head Start, is for the purpose of facilitating preschool student success in developmental and interpersonal skills by implementing curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of preschool students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment; and providing feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc. This position is categorically funded.
Experience relevant to the above duties will be considered when making the selection decision.
Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is required. A Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or closely related field is preferred. Certificates/Credentials/Licenses:
Possession of a valid California Children's Center/Child Development Permit authorizing instruction in a Child Development Center Program. Valid California Driver's License may be required.

The signature block must include the author's name and title/relationship to the applicant. Letters must be dated within the last 2 years prior to the position closing date. Letters without author's signature, name and title/relationship to the applicant and letters without a date or dated more than 2 years prior to the position closing date will not be accepted.
