General Education (GE) Instructor
The General Education (GE) Instructor is responsible for delivering quality instruction that aligns with program and course objectives. The instructor maintains an organized, disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning and addresses the professional competencies required in the workplace for students pursuing their academic and career goals.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Understanding of educational environments and the needs of adult learners.
- Ability to create a positive and effective learning environment.
- Knowledge of professional career pathways for enrolled students.
- Motivation, dedication, and enthusiasm for teaching.
- Strong organization and communication skills.
- Master’s degree required or higher.
- Preferred: minimum of two years of GE instructional experience.
- Minimum of 15 semester credit hours (or 23 quarter credit hours) in a related subject area supporting the General Education curriculum.
- Adjunct faculty, hourly, non‑exempt.
- Hours determined by scheduled courses; generally under 25 hours per week; scheduling is at the institution’s discretion and hours are not guaranteed.

- Official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended, including degree earned; copies are acceptable.
- Foreign transcripts must include a course‑by‑course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified transcript evaluation service verifying U.S. equivalency.
