Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer / Designer – HVAC & Plumbing (Construction & Design)
Location:
Riverside, CA (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in HVAC and Plumbing systems to lead mechanical design and construction efforts from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, project management experience, and client-facing skills to deliver high-quality, biddable construction documents and successfully manage multidisciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage HVAC and plumbing system design and construction projects from schematic design through construction administration
- Develop and review biddable construction drawings and technical specifications for HVAC and plumbing systems
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, contractors, and owners to ensure project alignment
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
- Serve as a primary client contact
, maintaining strong professional relationships and acting as a trusted technical advisor - Lead project meetings, design reviews, and construction coordination efforts
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field conditions during construction
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, energy standards, and industry best practices
- Support sustainable design initiatives, including LEED-compliant strategies

- 3+ years of experience Mechanical Designer / Engineer.
- Solid experience in HVAC and plumbing system design with hands‑on project management responsibility
- Proven experience producing construction-ready, biddable mechanical drawings and documentation
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP
- Experience working across multiple project types and market sectors (e.g., commercial, healthcare, education, residential, mixed‑use)
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and act as a professional ambassador for the firm
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
