We are seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join our Water Resources Department

Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and manage multiple water resources‑related projects.
  • Demonstrate expertise in the planning and design of water, wastewater, stormwater, and drainage infrastructure projects.
  • Effectively communicate with public agencies, regulatory bodies, and clients.
  • Adhere to firm‑wide policies and procedures related to human resources management, project management, financial management, client relations, quality assurance and control, and business development.
  • Research, analyze, and present technical performance data and project measures related to water resources systems.
  • Manage multiple projects with strict adherence to budgets and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Exhibit attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Maintain a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual personal performance goals (i.e., leads by example).
  • Demonstrate successful staff integration and team building at multiple levels of management.
  • Maintain registration as an engineer in the state of California.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent technical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently on several concurrent projects and participate in the entire design process.
  • Ability to supervise multiple employees and projects, and work in a team environment.
  • Good working knowledge of public agency standards, regulatory requirements, and guidelines related to water resources.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of all plans, reports, and studies required for water resources projects.
  • Technically proficient in all aspects of water resources engineering design.

Salary: $83,200 - $133,200 per year
