Transportation is more than movement—it is the foundation of connected, thriving communities. As part of HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you will help shape systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently, and sustainably, from planning to design and implementation.

• Work with the Transit team under the direct supervision of an Engineer and other technical professionals.
• Assist in the development of the rail model, under direction from Digital Design and/or Engineering staff.
• Help create rail models, systems, content, and overall digital delivery outputs.
• Accurately model BIM elements within the constraints of the modeling environment, using current 3D software.
• Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, exhibits, and diagrams of designs using current 3D software.
• Maintain the model, including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match‑lines, views, and sheets.
• Produce discipline‑specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.

• Technical degree or a minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
• Proficiency with 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
• Competency in Microsoft Office products and collaboration tools.
• Experience with 3D coordination tools.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational traits.
• Intermediate understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
