This role provides hands‑on technical expertise to ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building automation, and life‑safety systems while supporting Altura’s multi‑year headquarters renovation and transition strategy. The Building Engineer also supports the Facilities Department by reducing operational risks, improving system uptime, and protecting the credit union’s real estate assets.

  • Respond to service requests from employees, departments, and tenants. Coordinate vendor access and communicate building system impacts when maintenance work is required.
  • Scope and supervise third‑party vendor work related to building systems. Validate completion and quality of contractor services and ensure compliance with facilities standards.
