Experienced Principal Traffic Engineer (Civil Projects | Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer | TE) – Riverside, CA

Senior leadership role responsible for managing traffic engineering projects, supervising technical staff, and serving as a key client-facing leader on public and private sector projects throughout the Inland Empire.

• BS in Civil Engineering
• California Professional Civil Engineer (PE)
• California Traffic Engineer (TE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months

• 8+ years with a degree or 12–15 years equivalent industry experience
• Minimum 3 years of people management experience
• Supervise and mentor technical/design staff
• Make independent engineering and business decisions
• Lead multi-disciplinary project teams
• Strong client-facing presence with public agencies

• Management of construction documents and contracts, project schedules and budgets, design and support staff

• Contracts, fee proposals, scopes of work

• Public agencies, municipal staff, internal cross-functional teams

• California jurisdictional codes, standards, and procedures (strongly preferred)
