Overview
Kimley-Horn's Riverside, CA office is looking for a recent graduate to join as an Environmental Planning Analyst. This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities- Help prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative and mitigated negative declarations.
- Assist in Specific Plans, Master Plans, and other environmental or planning policy documents to support a full range of infill and/or land development projects.
- Support project managers and collaborate with team members.
- Gain expertise in CEQA/NEPA, sustainability, climate action planning, ENVISION, LEED, and Salmon‑Safe.
- Handle environmental clearance associated with local comprehensive plans/local land use planning.
- Work with infrastructure projects from across industries such as transportation, transit, land planning, and aviation.
A Planning Degree (Bachelor's or Master's) from an accredited program. Must have completed a major in City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science/Sustainability/Management, or another related major by the Summer of 2025.
Salary Range: $78,000 – $85,000.
