Woodard Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Drafter with 3 to 5 years of experience to join our growing team. This role focuses on creating precise technical drafts and collaborating on residential, commercial, mixed-use development, and public infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in CAD modeling and a passion for thoughtful design and accurate execution, working closely under the lead civil engineer.
Responsibilities- Create technical drafting and detailed site plans
- Develop and revise construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Collaborate on design and project documentation with engineering teams
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all drafted materials
- Manage revision control and quality assurance processes
- Support documentation preparation for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects
- Maintain attention to detail and accuracy in all deliverables
- Occasionally perform site visits as needed
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering drafting
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Skilled in blueprint reading and construction documentation
- Knowledge of surveying fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
