Overview

Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients while upholding the organization's core values. This role requires accurate and timely data entry, maintaining compliance through proper document tracking, and handling sensitive information. The Service Specialist will work closely with team members and must effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines. This position also involves supporting customers and internal teams through phone, email, and online communication to resolve issues and provide service-related information.

Compensation

Pay Range: $24 - $27 per hour
This range reflects a good-faith estimate based on required qualifications, experience, training, and related factors. Most candidates are expected to start in the lower half of the range, with the upper range reserved for those with extensive experience. Pay history is not considered where prohibited by law.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, including Service, Payroll, Sales, and Recruiting.
  • Maintain confidential files and sensitive information.
  • Manage client billing information (setup, updates, changes).
  • Assist with annual customer rate increases.
  • Coordinate with payroll and billing teams.
  • Manage client information in web portals.
  • Obtain required documents from internal staff.
  • Track and maintain company‑specific documents.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Recruiting, Compliance, and Payroll to ensure cohesive workflow.
  • Promote a culture where worker safety is prioritized.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of transportation industry experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with a diverse workforce.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Commitment to working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
