Job Overview
As a Bank Operations Specialist - Entry, you will provide outstanding service to customers and bank staff by telephone, assisting with deposit activity and guiding staff and customers on bank policies and procedures.
Work Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Occasional Saturdays
Essential Functions
- Cross-trained in all duties within the Bank Operations department and fill in as needed.
- Support the Operations and Technology Division, Retail Banking, and corporate goals.
- Perform all duties in compliance with internal procedures and local, state, and federal guidelines.
- Complete tasks timely and accurately as outlined in the Bank Operations manual.
- Handle a predetermined number of secondary functions daily as assigned by the Bank Operations Manager.
- Maintain a high level of job performance to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- Two years of banking or bank operations experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with staff and customers, in person and by phone
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer use
- Flexible to work varied hours, including occasional evenings or weekends
- Bilingual skills are a plus
