This position is subject to PLP 2025 and will have a monthly base pay reduction of 3% in exchange for 5 hours of leave credits through June 2027. Under the general direction of the Deputy Director of Enforcement, the Assistant Deputy Director (ADD) is responsible for providing leadership, vision, and strategy for the Enforcement Housing Unit.

The ADD maintains and establishes Enforcement Division procedures and processes and oversees the functions of the Division. The ADD exercises broad responsibility for developing and implementing policies and functions as a senior-level staff member.

The Enforcement Division within CRD receives, processes, investigates and conciliates complaints of discrimination, harassment and retaliation in employment, housing and by business establishments as well as complaints of hate violence and human trafficking. Investigations are conducted pursuant to state civil rights laws, departmental regulations, and may also be conducted pursuant to federal civil rights laws under work-sharing agreements with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
