Position: Stylist-In-Training - soon to graduate cosmetology student
A stylist-in-training is a position designed to introduce soon to graduate cosmetology school students to the salon environment and help them learn the business. Job duties include:communicating effectively with customers and coworkers observe manager and other stylists at work and asking questions answer phones, perform reception duties, sanitizing tools and light cleaning dutiesability to work in a fast paced salon environment open to learning new techniques graduate from an accredited cosmetology school and obtain the necessary license to perform salon services within 30 days of hire

Requirements

Ability to cut hair for an extended period and provide quality haircuts in a fast-paced environment

Commitment to follow the 5 Steps to Customer Care with every customer, every time, in every salon

Ability to efficiently and effectively resolve customer issues

Skill to listen and understand what the customer wants

Skill to use a computer to track customer information

Dedication to great customer service

Be able to lift up to 35 lbs
