The Speech Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by developing and conducting individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments. As a member of the health care team, the Speech Therapist performs comprehensive patient assessments and establishes appropriate treatment goals. • Supervises treatment delivered by the students
• Supervises volunteers
• Helps coordinate daily activities of speech therapy services
• Participates in program development, quality improvement and problem-solving activities
• Documents the delivery of services according to facility and departmental standards

• Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State
• ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be CCC eligible
• Current BLS
• Master’s degree program in Speech and Language Pathology
• Minimum one-year experience as a speech language pathologist
• Recent graduates that are CFY eligible may be considered for the position
