Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Occupational Therapist, you will develop and deliver a full range of comprehensive occupational therapy service including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions and discharge planning.   • Your responsibility includes restoration of function and consist primarily of activities of daily living, functional muscle re‑education, dysphagia, perceptual‑cognitive training, purposeful functional activities, custom splinting, provision of assistive and adaptive devices, and prevocational or work‑related skills
  • Re‑evaluate and adjust programs to meet patients changing needs
  • You will delegate portions of treatment to aides and assistants, directing and supervising as directed
  • You will precept students as well as participate in performance improvement and department development activities
Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed Occupational Therapist by the California Board of Occupational Therapy
  • A Bachelor’s degree from a school accredited by the AOTA (American Occupational Therapy)
  • Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
  • Current BLS
  • Minimum one year of experience required; new graduates will be considered
