Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Long Term Care Pharmacy

Inland Empire, CA (Riverside or San Bernardino) | Onsite

A national long‑term care pharmacy is expanding into Southern California and is hiring a Pharmacist in Charge to launch and lead their newest operation.

This is a true leadership build role. You will have full ownership of pharmacy operations and play a key role in shaping workflows, compliance, and team culture from day one. The pharmacy serves the IDD and behavioral health community in a high‑volume, production‑focused environment.

• Lead and supervise pharmacists, technicians, and distribution staff
• Own daily pharmacy operations including order entry, cycle fill, and workflow
• Ensure full regulatory compliance with State Board, DEA, and federal guidelines
• Manage inspections, audits, and controlled substance programs
• Build and optimize operational processes and team KPIs
• Partner with leadership on growth and expansion

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Prior PIC or pharmacy management experience
• Long‑term care pharmacy background strongly preferred
• Experience leading teams in high‑volume environments
• Comfortable owning compliance and regulatory responsibility

• Founding PIC for a new Southern CA operation
• No nights or weekends
• High ownership and leadership visibility
• Strong growth runway within a national organization

Competitive base salary: $125K–$160K+ (flexible for strong candidates)
