Position SummaryYou will join a focused specialty respiratory team that brings science, technology and talent together to improve patient care. In this role you will engage specialist healthcare providers, support access and reimbursement processes, and deliver clear clinical education. Responsibilities- Build and maintain trusted relationships with pulmonologists, allergists, nurse specialists, physician assistants, and practice managers in your territory.
- Deliver clear, evidence-based clinical education and training to specialist care teams.
- Identify reimbursement and distribution needs and connect customers with appropriate support resources.
- Create and execute tailored account plans to improve patient access and service.
- Collaborate with market access, medical affairs, marketing and other cross‑functional partners.
- Ensure all interactions follow compliance and ethical guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience engaging specialty healthcare providers in respiratory or related therapeutic areas.
- Ability to travel within the United States, including occasional overnight travel up to 30%.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to drive as required for the role.
- The selected candidate will be hired at the appropriate level based on experience:
- Specialty Account Specialist (grade
8): 5+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience. - Senior Specialty Account Specialist (grade
7): 12+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience.
- Specialty Account Specialist (grade
- Experience with specialty products using buy‑and‑bill or specialty pharmacy distribution channels.
- Familiarity working with payer reimbursement, market access, or payer relations teams.
- Background in biologics, rare disease, immunology, or respiratory specialty sales.
- Experience selling into integrated delivery networks or hospital systems.
- Demonstrated ability to develop account plans and track results.
- Comfortable working in a primarily remote role with occasional in‑person and hybrid team activities.
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
This role is primarily remote with hybrid expectations based on territory needs and team coordination. You must live within or near the assigned territory and travel to customer sites regularly. Geographic coverage:
San Gabriel Valley, Riverside County and San Bernardino County.
The US annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $138,000 to $230,000. Salary ranges take into account work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
