The Clinical Supervisor plays an essential role in overseeing and guiding supervises, providing clinical supervision, ensuring the quality of client care, supporting professional development, and managing the supervisory team.

• Provide regular triadic supervision to Associate Psychotherapists.
• Monitor and evaluate clinical work while offering guidance, feedback, and support.
• Promote collaboration and a growth‑oriented mindset.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and evidence‑based interventions.
• Oversee client case management, ensuring effective treatment planning, appropriate interventions, and coordination of care.
• Request case presentations or video recordings to ensure adherence to clinical protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Encourage employee development, measure performance, and highlight achievements.
• Coach to achieve successful results and enhance employee satisfaction.
• Recognize skill gaps and provide training to improve performance and professional development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
• Address employee relations and performance issues promptly and implement corrective actions with HR support.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance measures to evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of clinical services.
• Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Address and resolve issues related to quality of client care.
• Foster a positive supervisory team culture through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with other departments such as administration and intake to ensure seamless service delivery and support team requests in a timely manner.
• Ensure supervises adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and legal regulations.
• Stay informed about changes in relevant laws and regulations affecting clinical practice.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of supervision sessions, including progress notes and performance evaluations.
• Prepare reports for organizational leadership and documentation for recognition and disciplinary actions.

• Master's degree or PhD/PsyD in psychology, social work, or counseling.
• Clinical licensure (PhD, PsyD) required in the State of California.
• Proven experience in clinical supervision within a healthcare or mental health setting.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, treatment modalities, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Prior experience leading and managing employees and teams preferred.

$65 – $120 per hour (US)
