New hotel, opening Summer 2026! Hilton Garden Inn - Kansas City Riverside
Position starting March 2026 to assist with opening activities and preparation.
Come be a part of Kansas City's newest Hilton hotel. A stunning hotel, operated by Scarlett Hotel Group, a premier operator of Hilton hotels.
Support the General Manager in leading and managing all aspects of hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences, maintain Hilton brand standards, and achieve financial goals. Serve as a key leader in a growing Riverside area with strong community presence.
Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership- Assist the GM in daily hotel operations across departments: front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and guest services.
- Act as GM in their absence and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
- Maintain brand standards and ensure compliance with Hilton policies and procedures.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, respond to guest feedback, and drive service recovery.
- Coach, train, mentor, and develop department managers and team members.
- Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and associate development.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and labor management to support property goals.
- Support revenue initiatives and work with sales/marketing on local demand drivers.
- Control costs while maximizing operational efficiencies.
- Promote outstanding service that aligns with Hilton Garden Inn brand values.
- Represent the hotel in community events and local partnerships.
- Proven hospitality management experience (hotel leadership preferred).
- Strong leadership, guest service, and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours; some nights/weekends required.
- Experience with budgeting and business operations desirable.

- Minimum 3–5 years of progressive hotel leadership experience demonstrating clear career growth (e.g., Supervisor → Department Head → AGM).
- Prior Hilton brand experience required (
Hilton Garden Inn experience strongly preferred
). - Experience in full-service or focused-service hotel environments.
- Proven success managing multiple departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance).
- Pre-opening experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams while holding associates accountable.
- Strong working knowledge of Hilton brand standards, QA processes, and guest satisfaction metrics
. - Experience driving Guest Stay Experience scores, and service recovery execution.
- Proven ability to manage labor, scheduling, and productivity to budget.
- Understanding of hotel P&L, forecasting, and expense control.
- Proficiency in Hilton systems (PEP preferred).
- Experience with revenue management fundamentals and STR reporting.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, PMS, payroll systems).
- High accountability and ownership mindset.
- Service-driven leader who models professionalism and presence.
- Strong communicator with ownership-level maturity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
