We are partnering with a confidential manufacturing client in Garden Grove to identify an HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on plant environment. This role supports day-to-day HR operations and serves as a key partner to supervisors and managers across the facility.
This is an on-site position for an HR professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, handling real employee relations matters, and owning the full HR lifecycle at the site level.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions
- Partner with supervisors and managers on coaching, development, and issue resolution
- Support investigations, disciplinary meetings, and documentation
- Coordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts and onboarding
- Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws
- Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
- Prepare HR documentation including offers, promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
- Support training coordination and workforce development initiatives
- Partner with payroll to support local payroll processing
- Promote a positive, compliant, and safe workplace culture
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
- Comfortable handling employee relations issues independently
- Strong communication skills and professional judgment
- Ability to remain calm, objective, and organized in fast-paced situations
- Salary range : $93,000 - $115,000 annually (depending on experience)
- Quarterly cash bonus eligibility
- 120 hours of paid time off annually
