We are partnering with a confidential manufacturing client in Garden Grove to identify an HR Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on plant environment. This role supports day-to-day HR operations and serves as a key partner to supervisors and managers across the facility.

This is an on-site position for an HR professional who enjoys being visible on the floor, handling real employee relations matters, and owning the full HR lifecycle at the site level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily HR operations for a manufacturing facility
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions
  • Partner with supervisors and managers on coaching, development, and issue resolution
  • Support investigations, disciplinary meetings, and documentation
  • Coordinate hourly and salaried recruiting efforts and onboarding
  • Ensure compliance with federal and California employment laws
  • Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Prepare HR documentation including offers, promotions, transfers, and terminations
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Support training coordination and workforce development initiatives
  • Partner with payroll to support local payroll processing
  • Promote a positive, compliant, and safe workplace culture
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant-based environments strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
  • Comfortable handling employee relations issues independently
  • Strong communication skills and professional judgment
  • Ability to remain calm, objective, and organized in fast-paced situations
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary range : $93,000 - $115,000 annually (depending on experience)
  • Quarterly cash bonus eligibility
  • 120 hours of paid time off annually
