IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Role Summary
Director of Business Applications – responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and supporting the areas of business applications and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Maintains the primary student system (Jenzabar CX/Ellucian Banner) and ensures interoperability with other systems to provide seamless access to information and resources.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervise employees and student workers. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues.

- Experience in managing enterprise business application projects; understanding of IP networks and enterprise applications; knowledge of information security practices and accessibility compliance.
- Ability to work with customers to define project scope and schedules; broadly look at impact and project possible scenarios; simultaneously coordinate and complete multiple projects; maintain a long‑term, big‑picture view and foresee obstacles, risks, and opportunities.
- Ability to supervise and train employees; work closely with vendors, consultants, and contractors; and work flexible hours.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse faculty, staff, and student body; communicate effectively both orally and in writing and present information to all levels of the organization.
- Ability to perform thorough research to propose alternatives and options; investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
