A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with a focus on employment law to join its Riverside, California office. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to represent employers in a wide variety of workplace-related litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and employment contract claims. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law, and will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
LocationRiverside, California
DutiesDefend employers in lawsuits and administrative charges involving employment-related claims
Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and before federal and state agencies
Handle matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, tort, and non-compete disputes
Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements
Advise and counsel clients on workplace law compliance and litigation prevention strategies
Provide training and updates to clients on labor and employment law developments
Participate in litigation involving class actions and PAGA claims (experience preferred)
Requirements4 to 6 years of legal experience, with a preference for employment law litigation
Demonstrated experience managing litigation matters in California courts
Familiarity with federal and state agency procedures
EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Excellent academic credentials
CertificationsActive and good-standing admission to the California State Bar
SkillsStrong written and oral advocacy skills
Excellent legal research and analytical capabilities
