About the Role
Harper & McCoy, A.P.C. is seeking a full‑time Associate Attorney
- Family Law to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, prepare legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.
We welcome applications from both experienced attorneys and motivated new admittees
. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent legal analysis, strong writing skills, and a commitment to client advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court or before government agencies
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Advise and represent clients in a variety of family law matters
- Draft motions, pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
- Appear at court hearings, administrative interviews, and client board meetings
- Maintain regular, clear communication with clients
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
- Manage case deadlines and maintain accurate records
- Stay current with MCLE requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.)
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Familiarity with various legal documents
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Reside in or near Riverside/San Bernardino County
- Knowledge of California and federal labor/employment laws
- Willingness to travel as needed
