Evening Cleaner

Job Summary

ABM is looking for a Cleaner to keep assigned areas clean and well-maintained. This role is ideal for individuals just entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education.

Work schedule:

Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm–11:30 pm (30 hours per week). Pay: $17.51 per hour.

• Clean and maintain buildings, facilities, furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify manager about the need for minor or major repairs or addition to building operating systems.
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co‑workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients and regulatory authorities.
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas either manually or using hand trucks.
• Clean interior partitions, glass windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges and squeegees.
• Wash and replace blinds.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Sweep, walk, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs and equipment in food areas.
• Service, clean and supply restrooms.
• Military Occupational Specialty Code: 92S 92Y LS DC (preferred).

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.

• 1 year of similar work experience.
• Customer service experience.
