Overview

The Branch Operations Manager manages daily driver route assignments using technology provided by the Logistics Department. The Manager ensures Service Technicians meet customer needs while complying with DOT regulations on time worked and time driven, and all other applicable regulations.

• Communicate openly with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Take a proactive approach: build relationships, communicate, visit face‑to‑face and by phone, prevent issues before they become problems, and resolve any issues quickly and completely.

• Ensure safety processes and standards are adhered to and the team maintains the proper level of risk awareness.
• Communicate safety expectations clearly and openly.
• Know, understand, and comply with the regulations and permitting requirements for all entities in the area of responsibility.
• Perform routine safety walkarounds and inspections.
• In the event of an emergency or accident, take the lead and follow company protocol for reporting and resolution, including initiating a root‑cause analysis meeting with the RVP and EHS partners.
• Assure daily vehicle inspections are performed and exceptions are resolved in a timely manner.

• Manage, direct, and lead all functions within a branch, including productivity, overtime management, hours per stop, service quality and timeliness, and asset and fleet management.
• Monitor daily route compliance to ensure routes are performed as designed.
• Ensure the service fleet operates at a high standard, performing vehicle inspections regularly and working closely with maintenance providers.
• Maintain an on‑hand inventory of supplies, tools, and commonly needed equipment to minimize lost time due to outages while preventing over‑stocking.
• Perform route observations to assure service quality and good driving behavior.

• Create an atmosphere of trust and teamwork that values all employees’ contributions and supports a high‑performance culture.
• Engage the team daily to identify issues, provide direction and feedback.
• Communicate openly and clearly.
• Hire high‑quality team members and train them effectively for the role.
• Develop employees, including conducting annual performance appraisals with field service technicians and office staff.

• Responsible for the P&L and the implementation of an annual business plan for the branch, along with branch strategies.
• Meet monthly revenue goals and stay within monthly budgeted expenses.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

• 3 years of management or leadership experience.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
• 4‑year degree in a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated people skills, decision‑making ability, and problem‑solving.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and produce positive solutions.
• Computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
