Division Manager

About the Role
Under general direction, the Division Manager plans, organizes, and oversees one or more operational units, countywide support programs, or multiple areas of law within a court location. This position is responsible for operational leadership, strategic planning, employee development, customer service, budget oversight, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and court procedures.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage complex court operations through subordinate supervisors and professional staff
- Develop and implement strategic and operational plans that support the Court's mission and goals
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and exceptional customer service
- Build strong partnerships with judicial officers, executive leadership, and justice system agencies
- Analyze operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery
- Monitor performance metrics, workloads, and operational trends to ensure effective resource allocation
- Oversee employee performance management, coaching, training, and development
- Participate in budget planning, resource management, and fiscal oversight
- Lead organizational change initiatives and support implementation of new policies, legislation, and technology solutions
- Resolve complex operational, personnel, and customer service issues with professionalism and sound judgment

Minimum Qualifications
Option I Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of equivalent operational management or supervisory experience, preferably in a court environment.
Option II High school diploma or GED and six years of equivalent operational management or supervisory experience, preferably in a court environment.
