Branch Manager

Company Description Thorpe Design, Inc. Fire Protection Systems is a licensed fire protection contractor specializing in full-service fire sprinkler systems for residential and commercial buildings across California & Nevada.

Role Description The Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riverside, CA. This role oversees daily branch operations, including project planning, resource allocation, and coordination of fire sprinkler installation and service activities. The Branch Manager supervises and supports branch staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. Responsibilities include managing budgets, reviewing contracts, monitoring schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and local authorities.

The Branch Manager also tracks performance metrics, identifies opportunities for improvement, and contributes to business development efforts within the region.

Qualifications

• Operational leadership skills, including team supervision, workload prioritization, and branch performance management.
• Project management capabilities related to scheduling, budgeting, contract review, and coordination of construction activities.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems, building codes, and safety regulations (experience in fire sprinkler or construction industry preferred).
• Business and client relationship skills, including communication, negotiation, and customer service.
• Ability to analyze operational data, prepare reports, and implement process improvements.
• Proficiency with standard office software and basic business systems (e.g., project management or scheduling tools).
