Compensation for this position is expected to range between $75,000.00 and $90,000.00 per year, in alignment with what California Baptist University ( CBU ) reasonably anticipates paying for this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. In addition to competitive wages, CBU provides a comprehensive and generous benefits package to eligible employees.
Provide daily supervisory direction to campus maintenance technicians by reviewing and assigning work orders. This position requires extensive working knowledge of building maintenance trades, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, to effectively direct and evaluate technicians and contractors. This position will supervise and oversee main campus contracted services.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervise General Maintenance Technicians, evening technicians, food service equipment technicians, student workers, and vendors across the University’s main campus, which encompasses multiple buildings. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints; and resolving problems.
