Overview

The full salary range for the Post Award Accounting Manager is $90,400.00 - $ annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $125,800 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Under general direction, the Post Award Accounting Manager is responsible for managing external funding received by the University by providing comprehensive fiscal management, consultative analysis, and programmatic administration of a full range of complex extramural fund sources, to ensure the effective cash management, compliance, and internal controls, in accordance with campus, system-wide, federal and other sponsor policies, and requirements. The position develops financial models, strategies, and recommendations to maximize cash flow and minimize collections.

This position also is responsible for the administration of the accounting system projects and receivable modules, and related reporting. As a unit manager and member of the Accounting Management Team, the position is responsible for the implementation of the division's talent and performance management strategy for assigned staff toward meeting established strategic goals and objectives.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
