Description
Performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce shocks performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Place parts in specified relationship to each other.
- Sub Assembly Work, Packaging, Hardware Kitting. Building a variation of shocks including: IFP, Remote Reservoir, Piggyback Shock, 2.0 and 2.0 RR, CDC, 2.5 and 3.0 Bypass.
- Tends machines, such as arbor presses, spring compressor, hose saw, hose crimper, manual lathe, parts washer, vice and various hand tools to perform force fitting or fastening operations on assembly line.
- Works at different work stations as production needs require.
- Works on line where tasks vary as different model of same article moves along line.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
CompetenciesBasic hand tools and some mechanical inclination.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer SkillsBasic Computer Skills including use of email may be required.
