Job Description

Mon - Thurs : 4:00pm - 4:00am

Friday : 2:30pm - 1:00am

Sat 12:30pm - 9:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Run a press machine supported by 3-8 employees.
• Supervise and manage a small team of press operators.
• Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders and verify documentation.
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform visual inspection to verify no defects or damage.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager.
• Ability to read, follow, and interpret planning and work order instructions.
• Ability to verify part quantity and perform visual inspection for defects or damage.
• Punctuality
• The ability to perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.
• The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills.

Education

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Qualifications

• Experience running a Press Machine
• Experience in the Metal Extrusion industry
• Ability to read orders
• Manufacturing

The pay scale for this position is $27.77 to $29.72. If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as geographic locations, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.

Sierra Aluminum is a vertically integrated aluminum extrusion mill providing standard, custom and OEM aluminum products that range from basic mill finished extrusions all the way to finished, fabricated shapes.
