As a 2nd shift Fabricator, you will be responsible for bending, seating, flanging and top flanging material according to work order and production drawing specifications in such a manner as to achieve safety, quality, efficiency and lean production goals. This shift is eligible for a $0.75 shift differential.

• Independently performs set‑up, programming, troubleshooting, and operation of one or more production machines, including:
  Automatic presses, Turret presses, Fiber Laser, Vortman, Robotic Equipment and Utility presses (shears, press brakes, manual presses)
• Ensure machines run efficiently, safely, and to required specifications.

• Performs layout, fabrication, and assembly tasks needed to meet production requirements.
• Creates and fabricates customer specialty items when required.

• Diagnoses mechanical and process issues with equipment or fabricated parts.
• Verifies accuracy of completed work using measuring tools and quality standards.

• Conducts basic equipment care, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
• Follows all safety, operational, and company production procedures.

• Trains and assists other production employees.
• Provides guidance on machine operations, safety practices, and fabrication techniques.

High School Diploma/GED preferred. Mathematical Reasoning:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

This position requires domestic travel up to 5% of the time.

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Riverside CA.

Relocation is not available for this position.

$23.65 / hour
