LocationRiverside, CA
CompensationWages: $38.74-$56.14 per hour (based on experience and education). Starting rate: $43.98-$56.14 per hour.
Responsibilities- Weld various types of metal (steel, aluminum, cast iron, etc.) using ARC and MIG processes per instructions and blueprint.
- Utilize machine shop equipment including horizontal saws, overhead cranes, forklifts and related tooling.
- Inspect customers’ equipment for weld/salvage possibilities using visual inspection and diagnostic/testing equipment.
- Weld/salvage parts on frames, engines, hydraulic systems, attachments, and related power train systems.
- Write detailed and accurate service reports.
- Review data from troubleshooting to prepare parts orders.
- Measure assembled and disassembled components, primarily hydraulic cylinders and pressure vessels.
- Compare disassembled components against original manufacturer’s specifications.
- Recommend repairs and remanufacturing procedures.
- Complete work in the shop; clean and service welding machines and maintain a tidy workplace.

One-year certificate or A.S. degree from a community college or technical school; ten plus years industry experience or equivalent education and experience.
