Master Scheduler

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to manage and optimize production schedules within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with customer demand. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in manufacturing scheduling, ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination across production, engineering, and supply chain teams.

As a Master Scheduler, You Will:

  • Develop and manage the master production schedule to meet customer delivery requirements
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure schedule accuracy
  • Utilize ERP systems to plan, track, and update production schedules and work orders
  • Monitor capacity, material availability, and labor constraints to maintain efficient operations
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and improve scheduling performance
  • Prioritize production orders based on demand, due dates, and operational priorities
  • Communicate schedule risks, changes, and updates to leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling and operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate reporting of production status and delivery performance

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Production Scheduling or planning within a Manufacturing environment
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing preferred
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (JobBOSS or similar)
  • Strong understanding of capacity planning, work orders, and shop floor control
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with AS9100 or aerospace quality systems
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
