WHY THIS ROLE, WHY NOW

The climate movement runs on resources — and securing them takes skilled relationship builders who can translate transformative work into compelling cases for investment. Enviro Voters is growing its institutional funding base, and we need a fundraiser who can open new doors, deepen existing partnerships, and make the case for bold climate and justice work with confidence and creativity.

This is not a grant-administration role. The Institutional Giving Officer will drive the full arc of funder relationships — from prospecting and cold outreach to oral pitches, negotiations, and stewardship — while crafting the narratives that move funders to act. If you are a skilled storyteller and relationship builder who wants your work to fuel real political power, we want to hear from you.

WHAT

MAKES THIS ROLE DISTINCTIVE
  • Four-day work week for most of the year with five-day weeks during peak periods.
  • A portfolio of 15–25 institutional donors with room to build and shape it strategically
  • A direct seat at the table for funder meetings, pitches, and negotiations, with strategic support from the Director of Institutional Giving
  • Work that matters — every grant you secure fuels voter organizing, candidate training, and bold climate policy
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision and dental coverage, 401(k) with employer match, 12 days PTO, 12 holidays, a year-end office closure between Christmas and New Year, and additional benefits that support employee well‑being and work‑life balance.
