Join Riverside Community Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Labor & Delivery.

Job Summary: The CNC ensures high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates nursing functions during the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of patient care quality.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery.
• Support facility engagement initiatives such as employee rounding.
• Provide recommendations for interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
• Implement courses of action for training, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Manage inventory control and assist with supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (within 2 years of hire).
• California RN license in good standing.
• Current BLS, ACLS & NRP certifications.
• S.T.A.B.L.E within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience preferred.
• 2+ years in a lead role with demonstrated leadership and management proficiency preferred.
