A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to provide comprehensive healthcare services in a K-12 school setting. This contract role covers a maternity leave from the end of September through December, supporting students across all grade levels within the school community.

Redlands, CA

Schedule:

Full-time, 37.5 - 40 hours per week

Duration:
Contract from late September to December

Age Group: K-12 students

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care and health assessments to students within the school environment
• Manage and document student health records in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies during school hours
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness
• Implement health education programs and promote healthy practices among students and staff
• Maintain a safe and sanitary healthcare setting in school facilities

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of California
• Experience with pediatric or school nursing preferred
• Strong knowledge of common childhood illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions affecting school-aged children
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with students, families, and school personnel
• CPR and first aid certification
